AV & The Inner City are redefining Canada’s Soul and Roots scene with their powerful storytelling and breathtaking harmonies. Led by the dynamic Ann Vriend (AV), this six-piece, all-female vocal powerhouse delivers music that is both deeply personal and universally uplifting.

Their latest single being released May 2025, “The Failer”, is an anthem of longing for answers and reliable leadership– an appropriate topic for these tumultuous times, which blends gospel-inspired vocals with raw emotion.
