-A 22-year old Sherwood Park man is dead following a collision between an H-VAC truck and SUV yesterday morning.
RCMP say it happened on Highway 39 at Range Road 32 in Leduc County.
Two people in the truck had minor injuries, while the man in the SUV died at the scene.
RCMP believe the SUV went through a stop sign.

-ASIRT is investigating, following a police-related shooting in the MD of Bonnyville Friday night.
RCMP say they were called to a home on word someone was trying to break into a room where people were hiding.
Police say they managed to get those people out of the place, but the suspect confronted them and was shot.
That person remains in serious condition in the hospital.
No one else was hurt.

-Edmonton police are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect, after rocks and concrete were thrown at vehicles on the Whitemud Saturday afternoon.
In one case, police say a man standing on the overpass at 53rd Avenue threw a concrete slab.
It went through the windshield of one vehicle, but fortunately, the driver only wound up with minor injuries.
A bit later, a man standing on the overpass at 99th Street was throwing rocks at vehicles.
One was hit, but no one was hurt.
The suspect is described as about 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9 with an average build and wearing a black hoodie.

-Edmonton police are on the hunt for the driver of a truck that went through a fence before landing on the LRT tracks around 29-A Avenue and 111th Street Saturday night.
There weren’t any trains around at the time, but nothing could get through until the investigation was over and the truck removed.
Police say the driver and a passenger in the vehicle ran off following the incident.

-A new study at the University of Calgary says severe symptoms of menopause could be an early warning sign of dementia.
Dr. Zaynor Izmail says they asked about 8-hundred women about symptoms they had during menopause, and he says the worse they were, the higher the risk for conditions such as dementia.
He did say women who took estrogen-based treatments, didn’t have as many neuro-psychiatric symptoms.
