-There’s a number of Remembrance Day ceremonies taking place tomorrow.
One is happening at the Ice Palace at West Edmonton Mall from 10am til noon. This is being held by the Jasper Place Legion, and as always, there will be a moment of silence at 11am for those who lost their lives serving the country.

-Another happens at Churchill Square outside Edmonton City Hall from 10:30 til 11:30am.
The Loyal Edmonton Regiment will be holding it, to honour those who lost their lives in both World Wars, the Korean conflict and the war in Afghanistan.

-The Kingsway Legion is holding a ceremony from 10:30am til noon. It’s an outdoor event at 143rd Avenue and 50th Street, and everyone’s asked to make sure they dress for the weather.

-Another ceremony is happening at the Beverly Memorial Cenotaph at 4001-118th Avenue. There’s going to be a service at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church at 9:30, followed by a procession to the cenotaph.
The Remembrance Day service begins around 10:50am, wrapping up by noon.

-The Jewish Federation of Edmonton is holding a ceremony at the Edmonton Jewish Cemetery at 7622–101st Avenue at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome.

-The Norwood Legion is holding an outdoor event at 11150–82 Street from 10 til 11:30am. If it’s colder than minus 10, they’ll have it inside, where there’s room for about 250 people.

-Griesbach Community League is holding a ceremony hosted by Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, at Patricia Lake at Gault Boulevard.
It runs from 10:45 til 11:30am.

-The Calder Remembrance Day is happening in Calder Memorial Park on 127th Avenue and 120th Street at 10:45am.
A parade will start at the Northwest Edmonton Seniors Society and end up at the Calder Park cenotaph just before 11am. A memorial program will follow.

-There will be a service at the St. Albert Legion , with a parade starting on Tache Street, and then ending at the St. Albert cenotaph. The parade gets underway at 10:40am.

-The Royal Canadian Legion Fort Saskatchewan Branch and the ANA Vets Strathcona will be holding a ceremony at Millenium Place in Sherwood Park.
It gets underway at 10:30am.

The Royal Canadian Legion is also holding a service indoors at the CRE in Camrose starting at 10:30am.

Edmonton-Transit will be operating on a Saturday schedule, with veterans and active military members riding for free, if they’re in uniform, have a Canadian Forces or RCMP i-d or National Defence Record card.

-Veterans and members of the Canadian military will be able to pick up free hot beverages at any Tim Hortons tomorrow as part of Remembrance Day.
Those in uniform or who can show appropriate ID will be able to get a free hot beverage of their choice, in any size.
