-The city of Edmonton is switching to its winter curbside waste collection schedule as of November 1st.
It means the food-scraps cart will only be picked up every two weeks, since less organic waste is produced during the winter.
The food scraps cart and garbage carts will alternate each week, while recycling bags will still be picked up every week.
