Happy Camper Contest Rules

1. No purchase necessary.
2. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
3. Contest is open to all residents of Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada.
4. Contest commences on May 20, 2025 and concludes on August 23, 2025
5. Contestants must find the CFCW Prize Patrol on location and scan the Happy Camper QR code to enter on-line.
6. Contestants can also enter by visiting Vision RV, 11330-266 Street Acheson AB, and scanning the QR code on the Happy Camper RV.
7. Country Club Members will also have that chance to enter via the CFCW Country Club Newsletter for bonus entries into the draw. To enter the bonus draws, you must be a CFCW Country Club Member and be subscribed to the CFCW Newsletter. You can become a member on-line at cfcw.com.
8. Each contestant can enter once per Prize Patrol location, per day. If the Prize Patrol are at more than one location in one day, contestants can enter once at each location in that day.
9. Starting Monday, May 26, 2025 to Friday, August 22, 2025, we will randomly draw qualifiers on weekdays, at approximately 9am, from entries received from scanning the Happy Camper QR code (Prize Patrol and Vison RV QR Code). Qualifiers will be contacted via telephone to inform them that they are now an official qualifier for the Saturday, August 24 Grand Prize Reverse Draw at Vision RV. Qualifiers will also instantly win a pair of tickets to an upcoming Edmonton Elks home game at Commonwealth Stadium. Additional qualifying times may occur at random throughout the summer at the discretion of 840 CFCW.
10. In addition, starting Tuesday, May 20, 2025 to Friday, August 22, 2025, we will randomly draw qualifiers from our Happy Camper Country Club Newsletter Entries. Entries that are drawn will be contacted via email to inform them that they are now an official qualifier for the Saturday, August 24 Grand Prize Reverse Draw at Vision RV. Qualifiers will also instantly win a pair of tickets to an upcoming Edmonton Elks home game at Commonwealth Stadium.
11. All confirmed qualifiers will join CFCW at a Grand Prize BBQ for the final Reverse Draw on August 23, 2025 at Vision RV, 11330-266 Street Acheson AB. Confirmed Qualifiers must be present to win the 840 CFCW Happy Camper Grand Prize 21’ 2025 Cruiser RV Avenir 17RB Travel Trailer worth $24, 988 from Vision RV.
12. Contestants can send a proxy in their stead to the Grand Prize BBQ on August 23, 2025, Proxies must have a signed letter giving permission to be the proxy for the contestant.
13. All prizes must be accepted as awarded no substitution and have no cash value.
14. The winner has 30 days (unless otherwise instructed by 840 CFCW, hereinafter referred to as Stingray Radio Edmonton) from the time the prize is available to pick up the prize.
15. 30 Day Rule: Only one person per household may be a winner on 840 CFCW within any 30 Day period, unless otherwise stated.
16. Major Promotions: Only one person per household is eligible to qualify or win a prize from a Major Promotion valued at over $250 once every 6 months, or valued at $1,000 once per year. Examples of Major Promotions are Air CFCW, The Happy Camper Contest, Meals in the Fields, etc.
17. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Stingray Radio Edmonton and will not be returned.
18. Stingray Radio Edmonton and Stingray Digital Media Group, reserves the right to discontinue the contest or alter the rules at any time.
19. If contesting is administered all or in part over the telephone, internet or fax, Stingray Radio Edmonton and its sponsors and affiliates are not responsible for any interruption in service, miscommunications, misdirected calls or transmission or technical failure of any kind.
20. Please note that live stream runs on a delay so timing may not be accurate.
21. In the event of “enter to win” contesting, Stingray Radio Edmonton is not responsible for illegible handwriting, lost or mutilated ballots and/or incomplete ballots.
22. Stingray Radio Edmonton, in their absolute discretion: reserve the right to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
23. If an event or contest is cancelled beyond the control of Stingray Radio, we are not responsible to replace the prize.
24. Stingray Radio Edmonton is not responsible for replacing a lost or stolen event ticket or arranging for a substitute event in the event of cancellation of a show.
25. Entrants eligible to receive a prize will be required to sign a declaration confirming understanding and acceptance and compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of a prize and a release satisfactory of Stingray Radio Edmonton and participating sponsors before being declared a winner. All cash prizes will be awarded by cheque. The Stingray Radio Edmonton promotions department will contact all winners to notify them when cheques are available for pick up.
26. Employees of Stingray Radio Edmonton, Newfoundland Capital Corporation Limited, their affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, advertisers, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Decisions of the judges are final.
27. Stingray Radio Edmonton shall not be held accountable or responsible for misdirected phone calls, interruption in telephone service, busy signals and/or any other difficulty in contacting Stingray Radio Edmonton by means of the contest line. No use of multiple phone lines (i.e. a contestant may not use both a cell phone and home phone at the same time or a business phone system that would allow a contestant to be working multiple phone lines at one time.
28. Stingray Radio Edmonton shall not be held accountable or responsible for misdirected phone calls, interruption in telephone service, busy signals and/or any other difficulty in contacting a contestant by phone.
29. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to hold Stingray Radio Edmonton, Stingray Digital Media Group, their affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, advertisers, advertising and promotions agencies, their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use of the prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claiming to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the judges.
30. By entering, the winner agrees to the use of his/her name, address, voice and likeness in any advertising or promotions without compensation.
31. The winner of any prize with a retails value in excess of $750.00 will be required to answer a four-part mathematical skill testing question
32. The winner(s) and any guest(s), if applicable, must comply with all COVID-19 vaccination, screening, testing, safety and related requirements imposed or required by (if applicable) the Station, the venue, event promoter, sponsors, travel providers, hotels, governmental authorities or others in connection with the receipt, use, and redemption of any prize (other than a cash prize). Refusal to comply with all applicable COVID-19 requirements will result in forfeiture of the prize and no replacement or alternate prize will be provided. All cancellations are deemed beyond the control of the Station and its sponsors. This includes, but is not limited to, event cancellations due to any pandemic or epidemic constituting a public health emergency, including those subject to government mandated quarantines, travel restrictions, or stay-at-home orders.  The Station and/or its sponsors shall in no way be responsible under any circumstances whatsoever for replacing, and/or for reimbursing any winner(s) with any form of compensation for, any prize(s) or portion(s) thereof forfeited due to the refusal of the winner(s) and/or their guest(s) to comply with all applicable COVID-19 requirements and/the cancellation of any event, nor will any alternate prize(s) be provided.
