The inaugural Wally Footz Memorial Classic, presented by the Edmonton Padres Baseball, honours the legacy of Wally himself, who was instrumental in growing amateur baseball across Alberta and Canada for over 40 years—including being an active provincial umpire at the age of 82!

Watch six 18U AAA teams from across Western Canada compete in this round robin tournament as you enjoy a full concession, with bleachers, grassy areas, tents with tables and handicapped access. Wally's best friend & partner in building Wally Footz Field, 85-year-old Orest Babiuk, will throw out the first pitch on Thursday night with the "official" tournament starting on Friday.
