Since 2003, Grandmothers of Alberta for a New Generation from Edmonton & Sherwood Park (The GANG) has been helping grandmothers in sub-Saharan Africa raising their grandchildren who have been orphaned by the AIDS pandemic through the Stephen Lewis Foundation. They have raised well over $1 Million for their Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign.

The GANG is hosting a Kids Christmas Shoppe! Kids can shop in a "top secret" area, curtained off so they can buy some items for their parents, grandparents and siblings! Parents can register their children on-site, and each kid will have their own one-on-one volunteer Grandmother to help them select a gift, checkout, and wrap it. Vendors from the Antique Mall carefully pre-select gifts appropriate for the kids to buy and underprice the items so they get to give a really nice gift for under $20.00.
