-An Edmonton family is still in shock, after their home was raided by the police tact-squad last Thursday.
It seems someone had told police a victim was being held at gunpoint in the house on 148th Avenue and 75-A Street, so the tact-squad surrounded the place, eventually telling three teenagers to lay face-down in the back yard.
One boy had his shirt removed, while his hands were zip-tied behind his back.
Two younger kids in the garage were told to go outside.
Their grandmother had been sleeping in the house, while the grandfather was watching TV when this happened.
They had to go outside as well.
That’s about the time home owner James Potts came home, and was told to hit the ground or he would be shot, after he asked what was going on.
Police say someone had alleged their son was being threatened, so they searched two homes.
The so-called victim was found at a third location and was perfectly fine, although he’s now been charged with mischief.
Home owner James Potts says he’s disgusted with police because his kids have been traumatized,
He’s still trying to find out if police are going to pay for damage done to his doors.

-Almost all of Canada’s Premiers and territorial leaders are calling on the Prime Minister to make sure federal policies such as the carbon tax, are carried out in a fair manner.
They say the three-year pause that’s been given to those who use home heating oil is only going to benefit those in the Maritimes, while those who use natural gas here in the West, aren’t getting a break.
The only Premier who didn’t join the others in their stance was Quebec’s.***********************
– Meanwhile, a Tory motion to grant exemptions to all forms of home heating didn’t even make it through the House of Commons yesterday.
While the Tories and NDP voted in favour of it, the Liberals and Bloc said no.
