The death toll from the earthquake in Morocco has now surpassed 28 hundred. The initial 6.8 tremor struck a rural area 60 kilometres south of Marrakech late Friday evening. Survivors are working to clear debris and search small homes and buildings that were flattened. No Canadians in Morocco were hurt.
