Ponoka RCMP have made an arrest in connection with the ongoing police incident in Ponoka County. There is no longer a risk to the community.
A report from the public of a suspicious person resulted in RCMP locating the suspect.
-RCMP have issued an alert about an armed and dangerous suspect for everyone within 20km of Township Road 422 and Range Road 245-A in Ponoka County, including everyone in Maskwacis.
Mounties are looking for 30 year old Zachary Littlechild.
He’s described as 6 foot 3, 250 pounds and has brown hair with blond tips in a buzz cut. His eyes are blue.
He is considered armed and dangerous and was last seen wearing a black shirt and track pants.
