Fire crews from Cold Lake, Bonnyville, La Corey and Iron River responded to help deal with the blaze, but it wasn’t possible to save the church.
And while crews were dealing with that fire, they came across another one at the Cherry Grove Post Office.
They were able to put that one out before too much damage was done.
Investigators say both fires are highly suspicious. (photo courtesy of of MD of Bonnyville)

-The family of a 10-year old Edmotnon girl who was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was six, and who’s helped to raise thousands of dollars for the Stollery Children’s Hospital, says people have really come to her defense, after someone swore and spit at her when she was at Crypto.com Arena for Game 3 between the Oilers and Kings.
Apparently those people didn’t like that 10-year old Cecily Eklund was wearing an Oilers jersey.
She and her family are friends with Evander Kane, who first talked about the incident on Instagram.
Not long afterwards, Kings fans shared the story on Twitter, because they wanted to prove they aren’t all like that.
They also shared her donation page, and since then, they’ve donated more than 53-thousand dollars for the Stollery.
The Kings’ organization says the proceeds of an auction tomorrow will also be donated to that cause.
