Danielle Smith says she would also freeze business taxes, and that if the government was ever looking at hiking or creating taxes, they would ask people to vote on it first.

-ALERT’s ICE team has charged a 28-year old central Alberta man with several sexual offences against a family member.
Investigators believe it happened over the course of five years, but they aren’t releasing information as to where the suspect is from or who he is, in order to protect the victim.
The victim is now getting help from the Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.

-There’s a big conference on heart health for women this weekend in Vancouver.
One patient who was misdiagnosed several times before she wound up having a heart attack will be speaking.
Michelle LoJoh says she made several trips to the doctor and ER’s, only to be told she had kidney stones, shingles and the flu.
She says not once did anyone look at her heart.
She eventually had to undergo surgery to unblock three arteries, but that was only after she had almost passed out at a grocery store.

Canada’s beekeepers are demanding the feds start focusing on the issues plaguing their industry.
They’ve been prevented from re-stocking their hives with bees from the U-S since the 80’s, and beekeepers say it’s time to get rid of that rule.
