-Unless there’s some kind of last minute deal, members of PSAC are going on strike this week.
National President Chris Aylward says strike action will begin at 12:01am Eastern Time Wednesday, which means 10pm Tuesday night in Alberta.
He says they are trying to make sure their people are paid a decent wage, so they can keep up with inflation.
If there is a walkout, more than 155-thousand employees will hit the picketlines, including those at Revenue Canada.

Constable Harvinder Dhami died April 10th, when his cruiser slammed into a concrete barrier in Strathcona County.
There’s going to be a procession from Bethel Lutheran Church, to the funeral at Millenium Place in Sherwood Park starting at 10 Thursday morning.
The funeral is only for family members, friends and first responders, but the public can watch it online.

-There was a rollover on the Henday south of the Whitemud yesterday afternoon involving a truck and a horse trailer.
There weren’t any animals in the trailer, but Edmonton police say two adults and three kids were in the truck.

-It’s going to miss Alberta, but a huge storm is churning towards a large part of central and southern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba.
Forecasters say they’re expecting 10 to 20cm of snow to hit, with the storm kicking in tomorrow night and possibly lasting into Thursday.
It won’t be fun for motorists and anyone who has to shovel, but farmers say it’s going to be welcome, given how dry it is.
