-Residents of Bonnyville are looking at a 2-percent tax increase next year, and a 1-percent environment levy.
Reeve Barry Kalinski says it was a challenging budget, because costs are up, while revenues are down.

-The Capital Region’s incoming transit service means residents of St. Albert are going to be looking at even higher taxes next year.
The proposed hike, at least at this point, is 5.8-percent.
Without transit, it would be around 4.6-percent.
