The trial for an alleged arsonist is being delayed. Thomas Berube is on trial in Edson for his role in five suspicious fires around the community. Court heard on Wednesday, the delay was because Berube ripped out his toenails while in his cell. The judge ordered Berube to spend some time at Alberta Hospital. The trial is set to resume early next month.
