Laura Brown

Laura has devoted more than five decades to Alberta’s beef industry and has been a cornerstone of LLB Angus since 1978. A respected leader and longtime chair of the Stettler Feeders Association, she continues to guide one of Canada’s largest Angus production sales. Her strength, knowledge, and commitment have made a lasting impact on her community and the cattle sector.

Brenda Ralston
Rocky View, AB
The Professional Leader:
Celebrating industry professionals shaping the future
Brenda has dedicated over three decades to advancing livestock research animal welfare, and mentorship in Alberta agriculture. As a livestock research scientist and producer, she has championed innovation while opening doors for women in science and primary agriculture. Her leadership continues to strengthen the next generation of agricultural professionals.

Beth Cash
Cypress County, AB
The Promoter:
Recognizing those amplifying agriculture’s voice
Beth has championed women in agriculture through entrepreneurship, economic development, and community leadership in southeastern Alberta. From founding the Ag Connections Conference to mentoring rural entrepreneurs, she creates space for women to lead, connect, and grow in agriculture. Her work continues to amplify women’s voices across the industry.

Alexandra Brochu
Girouxville, AB
The Community Builder:
Acknowledging grassroots campaigns
Alexandra founded Northern Rural Chicks to connect and support women in northern agriculture. Through leadership events, women’s markets and mental-health workshops, she has created meaningful spaces where rural women can grow in confidence and community. Her work continues to strengthen and elevate women across the North.

Goodfare, AB
The Maverick:
Honouring bold, unconventional leadership
Lisa of The Homestead Farm leads with courage, integrity, and a deep commitment to regenerative agriculture. Through her advocacy, filmmaking collaborations and public leadership, she has amplified the voices of small-scale producers and women in agriculture. Her willingness to stand up for resilient local food systems continues to shape conversations across Alberta.

Jordyn Prior
Irma, AB
The Rising Star:
Spotlighting emerging talent
Jordyn is a next-generation leader strengthening Alberta agriculture through youth development, strategic partnerships and storytelling. As the creator of the Co-op Growing Leaders Program, she has helped more than 1,000 youth access 4-H programming across the province. Her advocacy for producers and women in agriculture continues to shape the future of the industry.

Robyne Davidson
Lacombe, AB
The Innovator:
Celebrates agricultural improvements and solutions.
Robyne has dedicated more than three decades to advancing pulse crop research in Alberta. Through applied agronomy, disease management innovation, and mentorship of young professionals, she has strengthened the province’s pulse industry and helped shape the next generation of women in agricultural science.

Michelle Rigney
Westlock, AB
The Ignitor:
Honouring an AFSC team member driving change
Michelle has strengthened Alberta agriculture through her leadership as an AFSC Lending Coach and dedicated community volunteer. She has mentored new lenders across the province and helped build confidence in the next generation of agricultural professionals. Her steady guidance continues to support women in agriculture both within AFSC and beyond.

A special tribute to an individual’s enduring impact
For more than four decades, Jackie Rae has been one of the Alberta agriculture’s most trusted voices. Through her leadership at 840 CFCW, she has championed rural communities, elevated women’s stories and ensured producers remain at the heart of Alberta’s airwaves. Her legacy continues to strengthen and celebrate the people who feed our province.
