-Do you love pizza? It’s “La Pizza Week” in Canada, and a number of pizza joints around the province are offering up their goodies so you can vote for your favourite. Restaurants can register at www.lapizzaweek.com.  It’s a great way to eat AND support local. Some of Edmonton’s entries include baked potato and bacon,pollo picante and “the Sherwood” from Sherwood Park.  There’s also a barbecue brisket with bacon, but you’d have to head to Lethbridge for that one.
