The money is going to be distributed over the next two years by the Rural Development Network.

-A worker was seriously hurt after he fell about 30-feet at a construction site in Edmonton yesterday morning.
It happened at an Epcor pump station near the Muttart Conservatory.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment and then released.
Occupational Health and Safety is now investigating.

-Even though the clubhouse at Northern Bear golf course burned to the ground last weekend, the course itself will be open this year.
Club officials say they’re going to use trailers or something similar while the owners figure out plans to rebuild the clubhouse, which they admit could take more than a year.
The cause of the fire is still being looked into.
