-RCMP in New Brunswick are on alert following that mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine last night.
A gunman killed 18 people and wounded 13 others, when he opened fire on a bowling alley and restaurant.
Police are still looking for him, and since two of the border crossings into New Brunswick are only about 260km southwest of Lewiston, the Canada Border Services Agency has issued an “armed and dangerous” alert for the suspect.

-Two arson fires this past Tuesday have forced officials to close the Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in Edmonton.
It’s temporary, but since they also lost a number of supplies they use to help their clients, they’re hoping for monetary donations to replace them.
