Edmonton police are investigating reports of shots fired near the west end of West Edmonton Mall.  According to various reports, people inside the mall this evening were advised to leave and several police vehicles were seen parked near entrance 55 of the mall, just off 178th street.  There are other reports of shots fired in the parking lot near that location.  The public and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
