Area: This alert is in effect for Parkland County, everyone west of Range Road 65 near Entwistle
Description: There is a wildfire near the hamlet of Entwistle
Instruction: If you are west of Range Road 65 to the Pembina River, north of Township Road 530 to Highway 16, including all residents of Entwistle, there is a mandatory evacuation order. You must evacuate immediately. Gather important documents, medication, and enough food and water to be away from home for at least 3 days. Take pets with you. There are two reception centres for evacuees. Evacuees must register either in person at the Wildwood Community Hall or Wabamun Jubilee Hall, or by calling 780-203-3258. Area: The Hamlet of Evansburg and the area directly south of the hamlet located north of Highway 16 in Yellowhead County.
Description: The hamlet of Evansburg continues to be under a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER due to fire activity from a wildfire heading northwest from Parkland County in the direction of Evansburg.
Instruction: Residents of the hamlet and the affected area south of the hamlet must evacuate the area. Residents in the Hamlet of Evansburg and the affected area should register at the Wildwood Hall in Yellowhead County or register with the Yellowhead County Emergency Information line at 1-833-334-4630.
