-RCMP in Redcliff are warning about online scams involving the sale of hay and straw.
Mounties say since October, there have been numerous reports of fraudulent sales of hay and straw bales on Facebook.
They say someone using the name “Maxwell Jakes” says he has bales in the Cypress County and Medicine Hat regions.
A farmer or rancher sends money through e-transfer, and then finds out the hard way, there are no bales.
