-Ground has been broken on a new casino and resort near Maskwacis.
The Bear Hills Casino and Travel Resort is owned by the Louis Bull Tribe.
The casino and gas station are supposed to be built first, followed by a hotel and event centre at some point.
It’s going to be set up about 60km south of the Edmonton International Airport, and if everything goes according to plan, it should be open by Christmas of next year.
