Ron Hiebert
Ron Hiebert was a Portfolio Manager and Director of Wealth Management for a major Canadian investment firm for 35 years, overseeing a billion dollar stock and bond portfolio for his clients. He is the author of “Wealth Building”, has taught investment courses at MacEwan University and the U of A for two decades, and has hosted “Making Money” on CFCW since 1989. A serial entrepreneur focussing on the energy and real estate sectors, Ron wants to help improve basic financial skills for Canadians.
Graham Hicks
Graham Hicks enjoyed a 40-year career with the Edmonton Sun, including 10 years as a business columnist. In 1993, he and Ron co-authored “Making Money The Old-Fashioned Way”, and their second financial book will be published in 2026. His primary purpose is to help Ron provide simple, intelligent and expert investing advice, so you can carefully prepare for, and enjoy, a satisfying and comfortable retirement.
