Hundreds of people showed up for a rally in Calgary yesterday since the Prime Minister was in town. Total estimates have it at more than 2-thousand.
Lynn Nellis with the “Pipeline Action” group told the Calgary Herald they need to light a fire under the feds to get the Trans Mountain pipeline built:
“As Canadians, as Albertans, myself a Saskatchewan person, we’re tired of all talk and no action. We’re tired of people dividing us between the economy and the environment. We know we can do better. We’re losing–projected up to 92-billion dollars–forfeited to the U-S between 2008 and 2020. We’re selling Canada at a discount and it has to stop.” (photo credit–JWN Energy)
