Some good news from Co-op—as they say it shouldnt be long before propane deliveries are back to normal. There’s been a massive demand right across the Prairies—as farmers are trying to dry the crops they’ve been able to harvest. Lot of them are still wet–so the big dryers are needed to help with that. The Edmonton region has seen the biggest demand for propane—but Co-op officials say they’ve got more drivers on the road now.
-Prairie farmers are dealing with an immense amount of stress right now because harvest is so late–and because the crops arent what they should be. John Chomiak farms near Mundare—and had these words of encouragement:
“The farmers are—I know it’s hard, difficult–but keep your spirits up–because somehow–we’ll get through.”
