Neighbours of a St. Albert family that got a threatening and racist letter–are throwing their support behind them.
Katrina Anderson says the note complained about her kids—then said “we dont like your kind around here—move out or things will escalate—we wouldn’t want to see the kids getting hurt. This isn’t a reserve–go back to the reserve where Indians belong.”
Someone had signed it—“your friendly Phase-2 neighbours.”
After hearing about this—-some people in the area have offered to put on a block party for the family—while the mayor of St. Albert has asked Anderson how the city could help.
RCMP are now investigating—to find out who sent that letter.
Anderson says its been frightening enough—that she and her family are moving out of the Grandin Woods Estates condos. (photo credit–CBC)
