Canadians are rallying around their dairy farmers..
As we all know—the deal formerly known as NAFTA–is going to take a bite out of Canada’s dairy industry—by allowing more American products into our country.
But—many Canadians say even if it turns out that Canadian dairy products become more expensive—they will buy them OVER anything from the U-S.
Ryan Wert farms in Avonmore, Ontario—-and went on Facebook last week-in the hopes of generating more support:
“Choosing to buy high quality Canadian dairy products supports local dairy farmers and the entire Canadian dairy industry. When shopping for dairy products, look for the little blue cow or the Dairy Farmers of Canada logo to ensure your dairy products are made with 100-percent Canadian milk.” (photo credit—Sue Alexander)
