That brine thats been used on Edmonton streets to keep the snow at bay—is going to be used again this winter….
But the city is adding what they’re calling a “better inhibitor” to that solution.
The idea is to show people it wont “eat through” their vehicles.
Its a calcium chloride-salt brine.—and while it DID keep the main routes clear of snow—there was a lot of concern that it made infrastructure—vulnerable.
