Big recall by Ford today….
The company is recalling 2-million F-150 pickups sold in the U-S and Canada—over fire concerns.
Seems a seat belt pretensioner deployment can cause an array of sparks—and some of the more flammable things inside the cab–can catch on fire.
This affects the trucks made since 2015—and includes the regular and SuperCrew Cabs.
Ford has had more than 20 reports of smoke and fire at this point….
No charge for the repairs—just take them to your dealership. (photo credit–Motor Trend)
