Its not as bad as it was last Friday—but Environment Canada has issued another “air quality advisory” for a large part of Alberta…
And yes–its because of the smoke from the BC wildfires.
So—expect another hazy day—-where you might be coughing more, your throat might hurt, you might have headaches–or you might be short of breath.
And anyone with cardiovascular or lung disease—will be more at risk.
In that case–stay inside with the windows closed if you can. (photo credit–CBC/Environment Canada)
As almost 6-hundred wildfires tear through BC—listen to this…
Penticton RCMP arrested a man Sunday afternoon—–as he was seen lighting two fires and cheering near a trail.
He was carrying a lighter and balled up paper towels when they nabbed him.
More than 34-hundred firefighters are battling the blazes–but the feds have just committed to sending troops and air support to help.
