RCMP have now charged a 46-year old woman—after eight dogs were found in distress in a hotel in Innisfail.
That was earlier this week at the BlueBird Hotel.
Police got a complaint about a “suspicious woman”–so they checked things out—and thats when they found the dogs.
The woman was already under a court order to NOT have animals–but police say she either bought or was given seven of the eight dogs…
They’re now being cared for—by “Klassic Kennels.”
Karin Adams is facing a list of charges–including impersonating a peace officer and harbouring dogs.
She’s been released—but told she cant own, have custody of, control of—or even live where there’s an animal.
She’s due in Red Deer court later this month. (photo credit–CTV/Klassic Kennels)
