One of the players who was badly hurt in that Humboldt Broncos accident last month—is going to Philadelphia—for specialized spinal treatment.
Ryan Straschnitzki got an offer from the Shriners a couple of weeks ago to become a Shriners’ kid—-so he’s heading to the Shiners Hospital for Children.
He’s going to be there for about eight weeks.
He was paralyzed from the chest down in the crash. (photo credit–Jeff McIntosh–The Canadian Press)
