Yesterday was a really sweet one for a little Beaumont girl who’s been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.
Janaya Chekowski-McKenzie was invited to spend the day with Edmonton police.
She got to see some training—watched the canine-unit at work—and got to take a ride in the police chopper.
Her mom Amanda Crow–says it was great to see her daughter laughing at police dog Fallon going after the “bad guy”—because she hasnt seen her smile or laugh much over the last while.
Janaya has put together a bucket list of things she wants to do over the next few months—and while spending a day with police wasnt on it—she had a wonderful time. (photo credit–CBC)
