A group of business owners—doing something great for the family of a fellow business owner who was killed in a “gas and dash” in Thorsby last year.
54-year old Ki Yun Jo—died when he was hit by a cube van that was trying to get away without paying for gas.
Rhonda Fiveland is the organizer of a barbecue fundraiser that she’s labelled “Healing Using Generosity”—or HUG.
Her company has offered to paint the gas station, while others have offered to build a new roof–and more.
Since Ki died–his family has been struggling to keep the business going.
They say “there are no words” for how thankful they are for the help.
