This could make for interesting drink if they ever combined the two—-but the Second Cup coffee chain has plans to open a bunch of pot dispensaries—–and the first ones will be in this part of the country.
At the moment–they’ve got just under 3-hundred coffee shops throughout Canada—and they’re hooking up with a self-proclaimed healthcare company that helps people get access to medical marijuana.
NAC is based in Ottawa–but they’re planning to apply for licences to dispense cannabis-once it becomes legal—-and THEN they’ll start working with Second Cup–in the hopes of getting stores off the ground.
SOME of those Second Cup shops—might be converted into cannabis stores.
Which means “getting a buzz” at one of their coffee shops–could take on a whole new meaning. (photo credit– Edmonton Journal)
