Edmonton police have charged a man —in connection with the theft of a battery from a city traffic sign.
Police got word about the theft around 144th Avenue and 66th Street early last Wednesday.
Later that day—–police tracked down two men—recovering 11 batteries from the vehicle they were in.
41-year old Roy Liska has been charged—while the other man was let go.
And we arent saying these matters are connected— but police say 24 of these kinds of batteries were stolen last year—-and 13 so far this year….
