The Ag-Producers Association of Saskatchewan says its time to slap big penalties on rail companies—-when they’re late getting grain to port. As we all know—-both rail-lines are once again blaming the winter–and a “larger than expected” crop last fall. But thats the second time this has happened in four years. Producers are actually hit with fees that are charged with shipping vessels are stuck in port—empty and waiting to load.
But CN says in the past couple of weeks—movement HAS been happening.
