Have you bought your tickets for the Red Bull Crashed Ice event yet?
If everything goes according to plan—its going to be better than ever—-as the ice guys do their thing to make the track as thrilling as possible.
They say its going to be about 35-meters longer than before—-and will allow the racers to do some incredible jumps.
That section is being called the “Canadian Big Air.”
One segment will feature a 40-metre vertical drop—to allow the racers to pick up some serious speed.
Its all happening near downtown Edmonton—-March 9th and 10th.
The track will start east of the Shaw Conference Centre– off of Jasper Avenue and 96th Street. The track will cross Grierson Hill Road–on a specially made bridge that has several heavy steel beams to support the ice and the racers. (photo take from Ottawa race)
