Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson says he’s going to do more—to get a handle on harassment and bullying at city hall.
A recent report says one in five city employees say they’ve been targets in this way…..
Yesterday the city manager told council it can be very intimidating going up in front of them—“as a whole”….
The mayor talked to reporters afterwards:
“I need to be crystal clear that my own expectations as mayor for our workplace here at the city is that we need to act with ethics and integrity—and that includes being respectful of each other in public. We have no room for harassment, bullying, racism or discrimination of any kind.”
