Forty-eight dogs and puppies from a remote community near High Level—are now with foster families across the province—–after being rescued on the weekend.
Officials with two rescue groups say there’s a lack of vet care and animal services in the region—-so the dog population was getting out of control….
The adults are going to be spayed and neutered—while the puppies will have more growing time before they’re fixed as well……and then——new homes will be found for them.
At the moment they’re with foster families–including CFCW’s Pete Hicks. (pictured)
