At least 58 people were killed and more than 5-hundred wounded–when a gunman opened fired at a country music festival on the Vegas strip last night.
Police say the suspect is a Vegas man named Stephen Paddock–who was by himself—and not believed to be connected to any militant group.
The 64-year old gunman was found dead by police on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino—which is across the street from where the shooting happened.
They’ve also found a 62 year old woman they were looking for.
The gunman’s brother was shocked at the news—-asking reporters where he could possibly found automatic weapons—-as he had no military training.
Apparently Jason Aldean was on stage when the shooting started—but that he got out safely.
23 year old Jordean Mcildoon of Maple Ridge, BC has been confirmed as one Canadian killed in the shooting.
We’re just getting word that an Edmonton single mother of 4—Jessica Klymchuk was also killed. She had been visiting Vegas with her fiance.
