Lot of smiles at the “Farm Animal Rescue and Rehoming Movement” near Wetaskiwin—as Daisy the goat is back where she belongs.
She was found by a neighbour last night–and the blind baby goat has since been reunited with her friend—Merlin the blind sheep.
Her owners say its obvious someone had her—because while it had rained in the region all day—she was completely dry when she was found in a field—not far from the sanctuary.
They say an animal communicator had told them Daisy was not far from the farm—-and while they were out looking–they got a call from a neighbour—-who told them she had found the little goat.
The FARRM people think someone probably thought it was funny to take off with a goat—-not realizing Daisy was blind and needed medication.
The good news is that she seems to be okay…
As for the 10-thousand dollar reward that had been offered for Daisy’s safe return—-the neighbour who found her—has waved off that reward—and FARRM says they’re going to make sure that reward is “paid forward”.
As soon as they figure out what they’re going to do—they’ll let everyone know.
