Irma is now taking aim at Turks and Caicos. The sustained winds still around 285 kilometres an hour, and new models are suggesting the city of Miami could be ground zero for Irma’s arrival this weekend.
Meanwhile, there’s another category 3 hurricane churning behind Irma that’s following much the same path.

At least ten people were killed in the Caribbean yesterday —when the eye of the storm passed right over the islands of Barbuda and St. Martin….
95-percent of the buildings on both those islands–have been destroyed.
In the meantime—-Floridians are getting ready for what looks like is going to be a direct hit from Irma this weekend.
Governor Rick Scott says people along the southern coast–have been told to get out NOW—-while they still can:
“I cannot stress this enough—-do NOT ignore evacuation orders. Remember–we can rebuild your home—we cannot rebuild your life or your family.”
