Seems that Sears-Canada has agreed to set up a 500-thousand dollar hardship fund for employees who arent getting a severance package from the company.
Close to 3-thousand jobs are being cut because Sears is “reworking” itself.
Here’s the best part….
The money for that fund—-is coming from the pot that had been set aside to pay executives huge bonuses..
The bad part–is that employees who’ve lost their jobs—-actually have to apply for the money—-AND they have to meet hardship criteria.
