Edmonton police checking into an alleged problem between Councillor Dave Loken—and one of the people campaigning against him.
Sarmad Rasheed told police that he and his campaign organizer had a booth set up at a youth day event in Castledowns Park this past Saturday—when Loken showed up—and started telling them they shouldnt be there–and should leave.
Rasheed says Loken kept pointing his finger at him–at actually poked him in the glasses.
Loken says he never touched him or threatened him–and a witness agrees with that.
Loken says he just didnt feel it was right to have a campaign booth on public property—-because it goes against election rules.
