Capital Ex Fun!
Walking onto the grounds the other day I couldn’t help but remember how excited I used to be as a kid for Klondike Days (now Capital EX soon to be something else).
At the end of the school year in our report cards, we used to get a free admission ticket. No matter how terrible your marks were, you were still rewarded with that pink ticket. Plus I used to save my birthday money so I could be able to go to on all the rides and eat all the cotton candy I could. That was very difficult to save that money since my birthday is in February.
The exhibition has changed over the years but that feeling hasn’t. It’s still very exciting and hopefully you’ll be able to come down with your little ones and join me while on location in Hall C at Family Fun Town.
What are some of your memories of the exhibition as a kid?
