This is “Sun Awareness Week”—-and a new report says if your bottle of sunscreen lasts all summer—you arent using enough.
The Canadian Cancer Society says its a good idea to practice “sun safety”—by looking for shade, wearing tightly woven or U-V protective clothing, wide brimmed hats, sunglasses—and a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Trouble is—experts say while many of us apply it to begin with—-we dont bother re-applying.
They say sunscreen needs to be re-applied every 2 hours for it to be effective. (photo credit–Hip2Save)
