Four Edmonton-area Humboldt Broncos players who were killed last week will be remembered at a public vigil at Rogers Place next Tuesday at 1:00. Jaxon Joseph, Logan Hunter, Stephen Wack were from St Albert while Parker Tobin was from Stony Plain. The celebration of life is open to the public, and even though it’s general admission, you’ll need a ticket to get in. Tickets will be made available free-of-charge beginning this morning at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.ca. (photo credit–Edmonton Journal)
-The only woman who was onboard the Humboldt Broncos’ bus when it collided with a semi last Friday—died yesterday in the hospital. Dayna Brons was the teams’ athletic-therapist—-and had been in a coma since the accident….. Her death brings that tragic total to 16.
-There was a very long lineup outside the Grant Fuhr Arena in Spruce Grove last night—as people showed up to pay their respects to a couple of the boys on the bus. Parker Tobin and Conner Lukan also died in that crash.. Their jersey numbers were retired at last night’s vigil.
