Time’s up BC.
Sounds like Premier Rachel Notley has finally had enough when it comes to the battle over the TransMountain pipeline expansion.
Just before 11am she told reporters she had a “very frank chat” with BC Premier—to let him know Alberta WILL be going ahead with legislation to give our province the power to turn off the oil taps to his province.
Yesterday—Kinder Morgan–the company behind the line—-said if things werent settled by May 31st—they were pulling the plug on it.
The leader of the federal Tories is blaming the Prime Minister for what appears to be the impending demise of the TransMountain pipeline expansion.
Yesterday—-the company behind it—Kinder Morgan—-announced that they’re pulling non-essential funding for the project….
AND—they say if the problems dont stop by May 31st—-they’re just done with it.
Tory leader Andrew Scheer says Justin Trudeau hasnt taken a single concrete step to make sure the project is completed—-there’s just a lot of empty words–with no action.
As for Premier Rachel Notley—she says BC needs to understands—that its a federal decision:
She DOES say Alberta could become a possible investor.
